Disability Employment Awareness Month
During National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) McCann Worldgroup's DEI team brought in speakers to talk about disability employment issues and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. My copywriting partner and I were tasked with creating a NDEAM campaign that informed employees about the month-long celebration.
Simultaneously, as a founding member of MRM’s own accessibility team, I worked with a cross-functional team to develop a guide for following ADA accessibility standards. We created a UI prototype with examples demonstrating sites that had accessibility in mind vs. those that didn’t. In addition, I collaborated with the other members of the accessibility team to create a dedicated email account and launch a landing page for any employees looking to learn more, ask questions, or get involved.
